RISK IT!: Our Second Roblox Game Is Eight Tiny Challenges and a Lot of Ragdolls

RISK IT! is a neon game show on Roblox: eight five-to-twenty-second challenges, honest odds, and fails that launch you across the arena. Here's what's in the live test, with real screenshots, and why we built it this way.

RISK IT! is StillAwake Media's second game on Roblox. You spawn on a neon hub floating over a synthwave void, with eight challenge islands around you. Walk onto a pad, press RISK IT!, and you get between five and twenty seconds to win. Win and you bank GUTS. Fail and the game makes a show of it, then puts you back at the pad for one more go.

It's in a live test now. Everything below is from build v0.2.2, captured in the game itself on 26 October 2026.

The whole RISK IT! arena from above: the hub and eight neon challenge islands The hub and its eight islands, one challenge each.

The eight challenges

Each challenge tests a different skill, and no two use the same input:

  • THE BUTTON: press your luck. The pot doubles every press, and the board tells you the exact chance the next press drops you.
  • PERFECT STOP: stop a needle in a zone that shrinks over three rounds.
  • QUICK DRAW: wait for green. More than half the rounds flash yellow first.
  • THE SWEEPER: cross a bridge past three spinning arms in 16 seconds.
  • DOOR NUMBER WHO: three doors, one trap, and a lamp that gives it away if you watch.
  • MELTDOWN: survive 15 seconds on a floor that falls away in waves.
  • COPY THAT: repeat arrows, then bank or go again.
  • LONG SHOT: aim a cannon, lock the power, and get fired at a ring.

THE BUTTON: the pot board reads 20 with a 20% chance the next press drops you THE BUTTON after one safe press. The next press has a 20% chance of opening the trapdoor, and the board says so.

Failure is the show

The idea behind RISK IT! is simple: failing should be the funniest part. Every challenge has its own gag. THE BUTTON drops you through a trapdoor, PERFECT STOP punches you with a spring-loaded boxing glove, QUICK DRAW catapults you, and COPY THAT's floor fires you straight up. A headline stamps across the screen, the camera chases you, and about 2.6 seconds later you're on your feet beside the pad, facing it, with the prompt already up.

A player launched through the air with a rainbow trail and a starburst A QUICK DRAW flinch, wearing the Full Spectrum trail and the Seeing Stars burst.

Wipeouts even count toward something: your title. You start as FRESH MEAT and, 400 wipeouts later, you're UNKILLABLE.

Honest odds, nothing for sale

Every result is decided on Roblox's server from the rules documented in the wiki, not on your device. THE BUTTON shows its real odds before every press. Timing challenges judge your press by when you pressed, with a small capped allowance for lag. And nothing you can buy changes any of it: THE VAULT sells fail trails and launch bursts, bought only with GUTS you earn by playing.

THE VAULT open on Fail Trails THE VAULT: cosmetics only, priced in GUTS.

Built for phones too

RISK IT! runs on computer, phone and tablet. We tested the layout in Roblox Studio's Device Simulator: the RISK IT! prompt is a big tap target, movement challenges dock their panel at the top so you can see the floor, and keyboard hints disappear on touch screens.

RISK IT! on a phone: MELTDOWN with the challenge panel docked at the top MELTDOWN on a phone-sized screen.

We haven't tested it on real phones yet, and saving progress on live servers is still being confirmed. Those are the two things this live test is for.

Where to start

New? Read How to Play, then try THE BUTTON: one press and cash out is an 88% shot at your first win. If you want the numbers for every challenge in one place, all eight are compared here, and every bronze, silver and gold target is on the medals page.

The official page is at /games/risk-it. See you on the pad.
