Can you punch zombies in Stillskin Forest?
Yes. With nothing in your hands, click (or press R2) to punch. A punch does 17 damage, so six punches drop a Walker. It is short-ranged and slow next to a real weapon, but it never breaks and it is always there.

How to punch
Put away whatever you're holding (or have nothing in your hands) and click, or press R2 on controller. Hands alternate. Punching is as quiet as a melee swing, a little quieter, and reaches down far enough to hit an infected at your feet.
